About Penelope Venola

Penelope VenolaA fifty year veteran visual art teacher, Ms. Venola has taught at all levels of education. She is a Nationally Certificated Teacher in Early Childhood Through Young Adulthood Art. In 2000 she was an Orange County Teacher of the Year. Her visual art program was designated as Exemplary by the California Art Education Association (CAEA) and she has been the recipient of a variety of state and national awards. She is a Past President of California Art Education Association and Pacific Region Vice President of National Art Education Association.

Ms. Venola has provided art workshops at both the state and national levels for over 30 years. A designer and artist, her specialty is book arts, collage, and assemblage and all manner of design. She holds a BA in Art from CA State University, East Bay (formerly Hayward), an MA in Art Education from CA State University, Long Beach, and a Certificate in Interior Design from UCLA Extension.

Her passion for all things creative continues to direct her life as she pursues her love of travel, culture, writing, and creating.
